Pınar Kayar is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice focuses on thinking through making, through repetitive acts and rituals. Working across painting, ceramics, installation, text and performance, she approaches existence through continuous acts of observing, collecting, carrying, repairing, reusing, making, as well as cooking, which is an integral part of her process. Through these acts, her work continually returns to the question of what it means to be human, searching for possibilities of hope and healing within the fragments of everyday life.
